As the Kawhi Leonard watch continues, the Star’s Doug Smith called Wednesday “one of the wackiest days in (Raptors) franchise history — helicopters chasing cars, flights being tracked, duelling ex-professional athletes assuring all and sundry they had inside information even as it contradicted each other.”

Toronto Star columnist Bruce Arthur wrote that “some of the city was briefly turned into a lovestruck 13-year-old.”
