Kamloopsians have been capturing beautiful images of Neowise, the rare comet that has been visibly soaring above B.C. skies since early July.
On July 23, Neowise reached its closest point to earth. Some locals caught incredible stills on camera, from a Kamloops perspective.
This weekend is your last chance to view this great comet, one that is significantly visible in comparison to the average comet.
Neowise can be spotted 90 minutes after sunset. It will remain visible for the rest of the night because it does not set.
After this weekend, Neowise will not be passing by earth for another 4,500 to 6,800 years, so be sure to check it out!
