Quebec’s agricultural sector is getting help instituting preventative measures to keep workers safe from COVID-19. The Commission des normes de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) has released a virtual guide of COVID-19 sanitary norms, along with a poster and a daily verification checklist that can be downloaded from its website, cnesst.gouv.qc.ca
Measures are also planned to insure safe lodging and a secure work environment for temporary foreign workers. The toolkit is a response to the concerns of employers and employees about preventative measures to avoid the spread of the virus.

The initiative is part of Le Québec se remet au travail, a government campaign to spread awareness about the need to respect safety measures as different sectors in the province start up again following the lockdown.
The toolkit is also available for Android or iPhone via the mobile app Ma Trousse CNESST.
