Here's Where You'll Get The Best Views Of The Super Blood Flower Moon Eclipse In Canada - Narcity Canada

Eyes to the skies! There's a Super Blood Flower Moon eclipse happening on May 26 and the best views in Canada will be out west.

This celestial event has a unique name because a supermoon is coinciding with a total lunar eclipse, and if you live in the Pacific or Mountain time zones, you'll have a great view to watch the moon turn red.

The total eclipse begins at 4:11 a.m. PT (or 5:11 a.m. MT) and ends at 4:25 a.m. PT, but the entire show starts at 1:47 a.m. PT, according to the Farmers' Almanac.

For Central and Eastern time zones in Canada, only a partial eclipse will be visible because the moon will have already set by the time totality begins.

It's the last "super" total lunar eclipse until 2033, according to the Weather Network, but don't be too upset if you miss it; it's the first of three eclipses in 2021 that Canadians will be treated to.
