The Seattle Seahawks won handily against one of the worst teams in the NFL last week when they took care of business against the Arizona Cardinals. It's hard to take anything from that game because the Seahawks were good but not dominant. Russell Wilson only had one passing touchdown and that was to Tight End Will Dissly. That touchdown might have more to do with Arizona's weakness that anything else. Sunday's game against Seattle was the first time the Cardinals have given up less than two touchdowns to the Tight End position all season.</p><p>Not to hold that against the Seahawks but the fact is, none of their wins have been impressive. They barely beat the Bengals who still have no wins after 4 weeks. They beat the Steelers without Ben Roethlisberger for the second half although it has to be said that Russell Wilson's individual performance in that game was spectacular for his team. None of the three teams the Seahawks beat so far are likely to be in the playoffs.</p><p style="text-align:center"><a href="https://ift.tt/2VcbtP4 alt src="https://ift.tt/31E6jxS" style="width:100%" /></a></p><h2>What's Up with the Rams?</h2><p>The defending NFC champions have issues of their own coming into this one. Their offensive line seems to be getting progressively worse as does their running game. While the two go hand in hand, pass protection was something they used to do well. If Jared Goff does not have time in the pocket, he is prone to turnovers. Unlike Russell Wilson, Goff needs a clean pocket to make things happen.</p><p>While Goff was only sacked twice, he was hit nine times which is far too many. As a result, he threw three interceptions and fumbled once. Being down 21-0 also put them in a situation where they basically had to abandon the run, which is not a good look for their offense. They don't rely on the run in the same way the Seahawks do but it is a staple of the misdirection plays that make the Rams offense elite. CenturyLink Field is one of the loudest places to play in professional sports. The Rams struggling offensive line will have its hands full in that deafening environment. The thing is unless you bet the Seahawks early in the week, you missed out on that chance.</p><p>This line opened at -1.5 Rams early in the week but quickly moved to -1 Seattle. It currently sits at -2 Seattle with a few books still showing -1.5. The total at 49, moved to 50 and is now back down to 49 across the board.</p><p>You are unlikely to get the Rams as underdogs again until maybe week 12 when they face the Bears or perhaps when they travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys in week 15. The point is, unless you believe that the Rams are a bad team all of a sudden,<a href="https://ift.tt/2wm8XcO" target="_blank" title="NFL Live Betting Odds"> taking them at +2 here is good value</a>.</p><p>This pick is by no means a slam dunk considering how well the Seahawks play at home.
