The American Hockey League returns to the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex, even if it is just for one day.
The Toronto Maple Leafs’ top minor-league affiliate Marlies host Rochester Americans Sept. 29 in a pre-season contest. Game time is 4 p.m.
The Marlies, then known as the Saints, were based at the Ray Twinney complex for five seasons, from 1986 until 1991.
The game is part of a package arrangement between the Central York Panthers girls hockey organization and the Marlies.
The Panthers are selling tickets for $35 to Sunday’s game and a Family Day contest in Toronto between the Marlies and Binghamton Devils.
Ticket information is available online at cygha.com.
